Miguel Parlade was born and raised to Cuban parents in Miami Florida in 1971. He grew up and graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School. He is the oldest of five children. He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's degree in English. He later received his Juris Doctorate degree from Saint Thomas University School of Law in 2000. While attending law school, Miguel Parlade interned at two law firms gaining extensive knowledge in Personal Injury Law and Real Estate Law. After graduating law school, he worked at a large volume bankruptcy law firm and then at a general practice law firm that focused on nursing home abuse cases. In 2004, Miguel Parlade started his own law firm with the focus of putting the client's satisfaction first. That firm is still in operation today and continues to have the same focus and drive to put the client's satisfaction first. He oversees every aspect of each case and makes sure that he communicates directly with each client.
